Physical Therapist Responsibilities: Conducting initial and ongoing evaluations of children’s physical capabilities, including strength, mobility, and coordination. Developing individualized treatment plans to improve children’s movement, strength, and functional independence. Addressing developmental or injury-related challenges, including balance, walking, running, and posture. Assisting children in achieving key milestones in motor development and mobility. Providing hands-on interventions to improve gross motor function and reduce the risk of injury. Working with children to improve endurance, flexibility, and coordination. Collaborating with families, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive therapy plan. Educating families and caregivers on how to assist in the child’s therapy at home and in the school environment. Participating in school-based or B-3 team meetings to develop appropriate goals and review therapy outcomes. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of treatment and progress.
