What you will be doing 

As a Production Worker in our pasta sauce and salsa facility, you'll be at the heart of our culinary operation, responsible for various tasks in the production process. Your role will involve preparing ingredients, mixing sauces according to recipes, operating machinery, and packaging finished products. You'll ensure that production runs smoothly and efficiently, while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Additionally, you'll collaborate with team members to meet production targets, follow standard operating procedures, and uphold food safety regulations. Your dedication and attention to detail will contribute to the delicious and consistent flavors of our pasta sauce and salsa products. 

The position will be based in Merced, CA. 

Main responsibilities 

Prepare ingredients according to recipes for pasta sauce and salsa production. 

Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment. 

Mix ingredients to create sauces, ensuring consistency and quality. 

Package finished products into jars or containers, following proper procedures. 

Conduct quality checks at various stages of production to ensure adherence to standards. 

Follow food safety protocols and maintain a clean and sanitary work environment. 

Assist with inventory management, including receiving and storing ingredients. 

Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines. 

Always follow standard operating procedures and safety regulations. 

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and efficiency. 

What we are searching for

We believe the successful candidate has these qualifications and experience: 

High school diploma or equivalent. 

Previous experience in food production or manufacturing preferred. 

Ability to follow recipes, measurements, and instructions accurately. 

Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices. 

Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move heavy objects. 

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. 

Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. 

Flexibility to work in a fast-paced production environment and adapt to changing priorities. 

Willingness to follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies and procedures. 

Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime as needed.

Pay Transparency:
