Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery.Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans.   • Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, infection control, the "7 Rights" of medication administration, and accurate physician order management
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments, procedures, and condition monitoring while ensuring precise, timely, and compliant documentation
  • Coordinate and update interdisciplinary care plans daily to ensure collaboration and patient-centered progress
  • Provide holistic, ethical care while educating patients and families and protecting their rights, privacy, and confidentiality
  • Foster a positive team environment, mentor peers, manage resources effectively, and proactively resolve unit-based challenges
  • Commit to continuous learning, annual goal setting, and strict compliance with organizational attendance and performance standards

Job Requirements

Required

  • Must possess and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license with the state of California
  • Must possess and maintain a current Basic Life Support (BLS certificate
  • Must possess and maintain a current Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certificate or obtain one within 6 months of hire
  • Must be able to take call, float to other areas, and work on weekends as required

Preferred

 

  • One (1) or more years experience in Telemetry or acute care setting
  • Basic EKG certificate
  • Bilingual

 

Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire.  This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
