Clearwater Construction, Inc. is currently searching for qualified candidates for the position of Estimating Coordinator. The Estimating Coordinator performs a wide variety of administrative and clerical functions to support the Estimating department. Tasks include processing paperwork, maintaining files, printing plans, managing bid schedules, and distributing information to appropriate persons.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Handle Estimating Department’s incoming calls and emails.
  • Receive and distribute plans and pertinent information for bids in a timely manner.
  • Contact vendors/sub-contractors for quotes, qualifications and other information as required.
  • Maintain and update Company lists of qualified vendors/subcontractors.
  • Answer questions regarding bid process and basic project queries.
  • Maintain the company estimate log and track status of bids.
  • Responsible for the acknowledgement, gathering, logging and tracking of incoming bids and project opportunities from clients.
  • Maintain, update, and distribute the bid list, bid packages, addenda and documentation to ensure complete, accurate and timely bid processing and information flow.
  • Prepare the necessary bid or proposal documents for timely submission.
  • Save all quotes for jobs we are bidding in the appropriate folders on the server.
  • Print and sort all quotes for estimators.
  • Research and ensure utilization of correct bidding methods for new states.
  • Print bidding and project plans as needed for estimators and PMs.
  • Complete needed paperwork to be awarded contracts after apparent low bids.
  • Other responsibilities as directed by Estimating Manager/Managing Director.

 

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

  • Office experience utilizing word processing, databases and spreadsheets.
  • The successful operation of computers & other technology, using various software applications, is essential.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate’s degree in business administration is preferred, but relevant working experience is also acceptable.
  • Must be organized and possess great attention to detail.
