Clearwater Construction is currently accepting resumes for a Construction Equipment & Heavy Truck Technician based out of our Mercer, Pennsylvania shop/yard to support growing operations in the region.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Diagnose heavy equipment malfunctions and conduct repairs in a timely fashion to maximize equipment uptime.
Perform preventative maintenance as required on construction equipment, vehicles, trailers, and small tools
Inspect and evaluate equipment for mechanical, hydraulic and electrical problems, damage and safety issues
Test repaired equipment to ensure it is operating properly
Document repairs made for accurate and detailed equipment work order history
Perform work in a safe and efficient manner

SKILLS + REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience with construction equipment and vehicles is preferred. Crane and drilling equipment experience a plus.
Tier 4 emission experience a plus
Ability to in work in unstable positions, bending, stooping, reaching, climbing, sitting, standing on feet for long periods of time, and occasionally lifting 50 or more pounds supported or unsupported
Strong mechanical, electrical and hydraulic repair skills
A positive can-do attitude to work as a team in a dynamic fast paced environment
Must supply own tools
