Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and patients for dental procedures.
• Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures.
• Take digital X-rays and intraoral photos.
• Sterilize and maintain instruments according to OSHA and CDC guidelines.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative instructions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting.
• Ensure operatories are clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Help create a positive and comfortable experience for every patient.

Qualifications

• Dental Assistant experience preferred.
• Current Dental Assistant certification (if required by Connecticut).
• X-ray certification required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Positive attitude and professional appearance.
• Experience with Eaglesoft or Open Dental is a plus.
