General Purpose: The Feed Truck Driver is responsible for delivering feed and other agricultural products to customers in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a company-owned feed truck to deliver feed.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment daily and document checks.
Complete and maintain required paperwork accurately and promptly (electronic logs, scale tickets, physical forms, etc.)
Report truck and equipment maintenance issues immediately to your direct supervisor, and schedule preventative maintenance with the mill manager on a routine basis
Maintains and ensures the orderliness and housekeeping of all areas of the feed mill.
Assist in cattle observation and report any cattle health concerns to manager/supervisor.
Assist in processing cattle.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
1 year of driving experience preferred
Ability to read and understand documents such as safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to handle "on the road" situations that develop from time to time (mud, snow, ice)
Must be able to frequently climb over, under, and around feed mill areas and on trucks and bins.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to work around a wide range of chemicals and different feed ingredients.
Will work in wet and/or humid conditions, and around fumes or airborne particles, chemicals, and cold.
