A Typical Workday

Your day runs Monday through Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, with time split between the activity areas and your workspace. You start by checking the day’s calendar, confirming space and supplies, and touching base with nursing and therapy on resident preferences and any changes that may affect participation. Midday, you’re visible on the floor—supporting groups, connecting one-on-one with residents and families, and ensuring the environment stays welcoming and safe. Between programs, you update notes and trackers, adjust the schedule for attendance and resident interest, and coordinate with vendors or community partners for upcoming events.
