Here at Keller Associates all aspects of the design are done in house! This includes Architectural, Structural, Plumbing, HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation and Civil.

 

An experienced CAD Technician is needed to team up with our structural engineers and architects to prepare routine layouts, detail drawings, assembly drawings, sketches, and diagrams for a variety of infrastructure improvement projects. An ideal candidate has a solid understanding of drafting techniques and familiarity with engineering terminology. They possess a willingness to undertake roles as needed and learn new skills and tools.


Responsibilities:

  • Design of municipal and public works projects, as well as private development
  • Draft and assemble construction drawings with a focus on water, sewer projects and standalone building projects.
  • Prepare documents using AutoCAD and Revit
  • Conform to appropriate Company CAD standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Minimum Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree in computer aided drafting field with 0-2 years in civil engineering field or 5+ years' experience in structural drafting
  • If lacking the education requirement above, we request Portfolio of work that demonstrates strong performance on software practical tests
  • Proficient in AutoCAD/Revit 
  • Experience with other software is a plus (Civil3D, GIS or MicroStation)
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Solid decision-making skills and strong communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with engineers and other CAD Technicians to solve complex problems as a team
