We are seeking a compassionate and clinically strong Pediatric Dentist or General Dentist with a focus on pediatric care to join our team 2–3 days per week. Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive dental care to pediatric patients (infants, children, and adolescents)
  • Perform exams, diagnoses, and treatment planning
  • Deliver preventive and restorative procedures (fillings, crowns, sealants, etc.)
  • Perform pediatric dental procedures, including pulp therapy and extractions
  • Administer or oversee nitrous oxide and/or general anesthesia as appropriate
  • Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and preventive care
  • Create a positive, comfortable, and engaging experience for children
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure efficient patient flow
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and compliance with all regulations

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
  • Completion of a Pediatric Dentistry residency (preferred) OR significant experience treating pediatric patients
  • Active and unrestricted Idaho dental license (or ability to obtain)
  • Nitrous oxide certification (required)
  • Experience with sedation and pediatric behavior management techniques preferred
  • Strong communication skills with both children and parents
  • Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
