We are seeking a compassionate and clinically strong Pediatric Dentist or General Dentist with a focus on pediatric care to join our team 2ā3 days per week. Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive dental care to pediatric patients (infants, children, and adolescents)
- Perform exams, diagnoses, and treatment planning
- Deliver preventive and restorative procedures (fillings, crowns, sealants, etc.)
- Perform pediatric dental procedures, including pulp therapy and extractions
- Administer or oversee nitrous oxide and/or general anesthesia as appropriate
- Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and preventive care
- Create a positive, comfortable, and engaging experience for children
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure efficient patient flow
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and compliance with all regulations
Qualifications
Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
- Completion of a Pediatric Dentistry residency (preferred) OR significant experience treating pediatric patients
- Active and unrestricted Idaho dental license (or ability to obtain)
- Nitrous oxide certification (required)
- Experience with sedation and pediatric behavior management techniques preferred
- Strong communication skills with both children and parents
- Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
