Our work environment includes: Modern hospital setting Growth opportunities Our medical scribes are trained to work under the personal supervision of a healthcare provider during his or her clinical shift. With the ever-increasing documentation demands into electronic health record (EHR) systems, our goal at Revascent is to take on the majority of the provider documentation burden to help improve efficiency, decrease documentation burnout, and in turn help to improve provider wellness. We are looking to fill a part-time in-person emergency medicine scribe position for a rotating schedule including weekends and holidays. We welcome candidates of all interests to apply, whether you are looking for a career, or planning to attend medical school, nursing school, dental school, etc. Our scribes work one on one with a clinician throughout their shift, providing the opportunity for shadowing, gaining experience, and building vital relationships. Current specialties available: Emergency Medicine Job duties include: Charting patient histories, physical exam, procedures, and discharge as directed by the provider (SOAP notes) Assisting in procedures when appropriate Order entry as directed by the provider Track diagnostic results Discharge planning including referrals, letters, and prescription orders Qualifications: 16 – 24 hours per week (no seasonal positions) Authorized to work in the United States Must be 18+ years old High School diploma or equivalent Background check and drug screen required upon hire Must be able to meet client facility requirements for access, including vaccination requirements (TB test, Tdap, Varicella, MMR, Hepatitis B, Yearly Influenza) 50+ wpm Benefits include: Paid training program 401K and medical benefits for those who qualify.
