JOB SUMMARY

This position will assist the lead Installation technician with the installation of heating and air conditioning replacement systems.
JOB DUTIES
  • Assist lead technicians with installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems and equipment
  •  Carry tools, materials, and equipment to job sites and maintain an organized work area 
  • Learn to troubleshoot heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration systems under supervision 
  • Assist with ductwork installation, equipment change-outs, and system startups 
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks including filter changes, coil cleaning, and system inspections 
  • Help check refrigerant pressures, temperatures, electrical components, and airflow measurements 
  • Safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and diagnostic equipment 
  • Load, unload, and inventory materials, parts, and equipment for daily jobs 
  • Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in clean working condition 
  • Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and OSHA guidelines 
  • Communicate professionally with customers and team members on job progress and site conditions 
  • Complete job-related paperwork, service notes, and documentation as required 
  • Participate in ongoing training to develop technical HVAC knowledge and certifications 
  • Maintain punctual attendance and readiness for assigned work schedules, including occasional overtime or emergency calls
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • NATE certification preferred
  • Must display strong communication skills and technical competence
  • Ability to pass a thorough background check and drug screen
  • Clean driving record
