Gregory — named PR Agency of the Year by PR Daily and recognized on PRWeek's Best Places to Work list — is looking for an Associate Vice President to join our team. This role is designed for a rising PR leader who is ready to take on more — more ownership, more strategy, more team responsibility. Client roster will consist of mostly real estate clients - knowledge of the real estate industry is not required but preferred. Candidates must be in commuting distance to our Philadelphia-area office

Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of client accounts with independence, setting daily priorities and aligning team activities to meet client expectations and quality standards
  • Direct media strategy at a senior level, taking on high-impact assignments while delegating effectively to team members based on skill
  • Develop, mentor, and manage junior staff; conduct performance reviews and support career growth.
  • Write and oversee strategic press releases, blog posts, media queries, and social media content
  • Serve as the senior day-to-day client contact, fielding inquiries and delivering quality service
  • Contribute to new business development, including leading sales discussions
  • Work closely with senior leadership to build your strategic voice and expand your client portfolio
  • Champion firm initiatives — participate in Gregory marketing, lead or contribute to staff training, and share industry insights with the team
  • Leverage AI tools to accelerate research, media monitoring and outreach, content drafting, and client intelligence — and actively develop your fluency with AI as part of the role

Education / Experience / Skills:

  • Undergraduate degree in communications, public relations, journalism, English, or a related field
  • 5–8 years of PR experience, with experience in account leadership
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and PR industry platforms/tools
  • Strong project management and communication skills
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate across a team
  • Client-service orientation with a solutions-driven mindset
  • Self-motivated, organized, and adaptable to shifting priorities
  • Sales ability and a goal-oriented approach
  • Comfort working with AI tools and a genuine interest in how AI can strengthen your work
