JOB SUMMARY  

This assistantship will allow the student to learn about fundraising in higher education as well as the daily operation of an alumni office.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Assist with alumni events; focus on Alumni-Student Speed Networking Night
  • Make phone calls to alumni and donors to maintain strong relationships with the college
  • Help manage alumni files and donor records
  • Other office tasks as needed

 

QUALIFICATIONS  

  • Currently enrolled in a master's degree program in a relevant field such as counseling and education.  
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with individuals from diverse backgrounds.  
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.  
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.  
  • Commitment to promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion in educational environments.
