Are you looking for an exciting seasonal opportunity to work in the laboratory at Aqua? This position would assist the chemists, microbiologists, sample receiving and Quality Assurance groups within the laboratory and training would be provided. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
• Preparing glassware and sample bottles for all sections of the laboratory following specific protocols
• Assisting laboratory staff as needed with filing of sample reports, log-in of samples, sorting of samples, packing, and unpacking coolers
• Cleaning sample bottles/vials and operating dishwasher as needed
• Verifying sample pH and turbidity
• Replenishing instrument water reservoirs as needed
• Preparing buffer solutions

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Pursuing a degree in science. Chemistry or biology preferred.
• Prefers a high-volume environmental laboratory learning environment.
• Has an interest in learning about different methods, procedures, and techniques that go into analyzing drinking water and wastewater.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• May be subject to  noise, wet and/or humid conditions, mechanical, electrical, gas exposure hazards, fumes, dusts, mists, gases and/or poor ventilation atmospheric conditions.
• May involve standing for long periods of time.
