Maintenance Technician

Position Summary

Philadelphia Country Club is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to support the upkeep and presentation of The Mill, our newest clubhouse facility. This role is integral to maintaining the high standards of cleanliness, safety, and overall environment that define the member experience.

Blending light maintenance responsibilities with housekeeping support, this position plays a key role in ensuring all areas, including dining venues, tennis operations, and lounge spaces, are consistently well maintained and guest ready.

Key Responsibilities

• Facility Maintenance
  Perform minor repairs across the building, including basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work such as unclogging drains, replacing lighting, and patching surfaces.
• Preventative Maintenance & Monitoring
  Conduct routine inspections of building systems, including HVAC filters and fire safety equipment, proactively identifying and reporting any concerns.
• Housekeeping Support
  Partner with the housekeeping team to maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout the facility, including floor care, window cleaning, and sanitization of common and high-traffic areas.
• Grounds & Waste Management
  Maintain the cleanliness of exterior walkways and surrounding areas; manage the timely removal of trash and recycling.
• Inventory & Organization
  Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and maintenance materials, ensuring readiness for daily operations.
• Safe Work Practices
  Utilize ladders and equipment safely and in accordance with club standards to complete assigned tasks.

Schedule & Availability

• Part-time position, approximately 20 hours per week
• Evening and weekend availability required
• Shifts may extend through 11:00 PM based on operational needs

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain active for extended periods
• Working knowledge of basic hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and follow established procedures
