The Department of Music, Theatre & Film at Saint Joseph's University invites applications for the position of Adjunct Instructor, Music Theatre and Film in Vocal Performance to teach private voice lessons in the Fall 2025 semester.

The Department of Music, Theatre & Film at Saint Joseph's University invites applications for the position of Adjunct Instructor, Music Theatre and Film in Vocal Performance to teach private voice lessons in the Fall 2025 semester. 

Job responsibilities include:

  • Providing private in-person voice lessons to Music majors, Musical Theatre majors and Music minors; participation in vocal juries.
  • Organization of and attendance at end-of-semester studio student voice recital. 
  • This is a part-time faculty position of up to 6 hours weekly in the Fall 2025 semester.

Required qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Music, evidence of successful teaching experience in studio voice at the college level, and demonstrated experience as a performer.

Preferred qualifications: 

  • D.M.A. in voice and experience teaching voice in a liberal arts college setting.
