About the Role:

Volcanos Bar and Bistro in Gary, IN, is looking for a talented and passionate Mixologist to join our dynamic team! If you have a flair for crafting creative cocktails and love delivering an unforgettable guest experience, this is the opportunity for you. Responsibilities:

Craft and serve classic and original cocktails with precision, creativity, and consistency
Develop and contribute to seasonal cocktail menus and specialty drink programs
Engage guests with knowledgeable recommendations and exceptional customer service
Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar station at all times
Monitor and manage bar inventory, including spirits, mixers, garnishes, and glassware
Ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with local laws and regulations
Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless dining and bar experience

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Mixologist, Bartender, or similar role in a bar or restaurant setting
Strong knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, and classic cocktail techniques
Creative mindset with the ability to develop original cocktail recipes
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a guest-first attitude
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including nights, weekends, and holidays
BASSET or equivalent responsible alcohol service certification preferred
Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol in the state of Indiana
