ASRC Federal System Solutions (AFSS) is hiring Spacecraft Technicians at the Associate, Mid-Level, and Senior levels to support NASA's Orion Programat Kennedy Space Center, Florida.

Whether you're an experienced aerospace professional or an early-career technician looking to launch your career, you'll play a critical role in assembling, integrating, testing, and maintaining the spacecraft that will carry astronauts to the Moon and beyond.

Location: Kennedy Space Center, FL

What You'll Do

  • Assemble, integrate, and test spacecraft electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Perform electronic and electro-mechanical assembly tasks supporting production, development, and prototype hardware.
  • Fabricate, test, and install electrical harnesses and mechanical components.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, blueprints, and work instructions.
  • Use standard electrical and mechanical assembly tools and test equipment.
  • Perform troubleshooting, modifications, rework, and quality testing.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure mission success.
  • Maintain accurate production documentation while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent with specialized technical training, technical associate degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience requirements vary by level:
    • Associate: 0–2 years
    • Mid-Level: 3–5 years
    • Senior: 5+ years
  • Experience in aerospace, aviation, manufacturing, electronics, mechanical assembly, or a related technical field.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
  • Strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude.
  • Experience with harness fabrication, testing, and installation is a plus.
  • Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License is a plus.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Must be able to successfully complete a government background investigation and pre-employment drug screening.
