We're looking for an Accounting Manager who is both a strong technical expert and a hands-on leader to guide our accounting team and support the financial health of the organization.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Department
  • Own the month-end close process, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial review
  • Ensure accuracy of financial transactions, including bank and EFT reconciliations
  • Oversee sales tax filings and compliance requirements
  • Manage cash disbursements, including monthly check runs
  • Maintain business licenses, tax registrations, and required reporting (Builder's Risk, 1GPA)
  • Partner closely with the CFO and Leadership on financial initiatives
  • Collaborate with Operations to align financial data with project performance
  • Lead, mentor, and develop accounting team members
  • Ensure deadlines are consistently met with accuracy and accountability

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of accounting experience (construction industry required)
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong knowledge of job cost accounting and construction financials
  • Experience with ERP systems (Vista Viewpoint preferred)
  • CPA or CPA-eligible is a plus
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
