A Data Center Mechanical Critical Facilities Engineer is a highly specialized professional whose extensive knowledge and expertise are pivotal in designing, implementing, and optimizing thermal and environmental systems within data centers.

Minimum Qualifications


Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent vocational achievements and practical experience. 5+ years of practical experience in mechanical engineering, operations within a data center or similar critical operations environment.

Preferred Qualifications


Master’s Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field. Comprehensive understanding of data center infrastructure. Professional Engineer (PE) license. 7+ years of hands-on field experience in mechanical engineering, specifically within data center or similar environments. Experience in the design and implementation of mechanical systems tailored for sophisticated data centers. In-depth knowledge of water treatment processes, encompassing chemical dosing, filtration, and testing. Experience using CFD simulation tools such as ANSYS Fluent or OpenFOAM. Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Trane Trace 3D, and Weil-McLain Water Treatment Software. Outstanding problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Capability to work independently while also thriving as a member of a cross-functional team.
