Powder Coat Technician

Job Overview:

Nescon is seeking a talented Powder Coat technician to join our team in Mesa, AZ! The Powder Coat Technician will be responsible for performing powder coat processes per product specifications. The technician also maintains spray booths, sand blast booths, ovens, and manual powder gun applicators.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Bake parts at appropriate temperatures within time limitations
• Hang and unhang parts from powder coat racks
• Properly handle and dispose of various materials
• Maintain documentation processes

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• 2+ years of experience preparing surfaces for paint preferred
• 1 year of forklift operation experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Self-directed and able to complete work with limited supervision
• Be able to lift 50 lbs
• Stand for 10 hours per day
• Work in warm conditions
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
• Must be able to pass a drug test for employment

ENVIRONMENTAL EXPOSURE:

• Required to wear personal protective equipment where applicable.
• Subject to moderate to high noise levels
• Subject to hazards including electrical current, moving mechanical parts, exposure to chemicals, and debris.
• Subject to vibrations

EDUCATION:

• High School diploma or some vocational training preferred

LOCATION:

Must be able to commute daily to Mesa, AZ. No relocation benefits provided.
