Job DetailsJob Location: Mesa, AZ 85209Salary Range: $36.00 - $42.00We are seeking an experienced PRN Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a 1099 contract basis. Flexible, contractor-based schedule Competitive pay without the full-time commitment Work in a specialized, supportive clinical team Opportunity to build long-term PRN relationship with a respected GI practice What You’ll Do Provide exceptional nursing care before, during, and after procedures Admit, assess, and educate patients prior to procedures Prepare procedure rooms and assist physicians during endoscopy procedures Monitor patient vitals and recovery post-procedure Provide discharge instructions and patient education to patients and families Accurately document patient information and clinical updates Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of care Respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations, including respiratory or cardiac events Assist with patient transport and clinic flow as needed Support daily clinic operations, including cleaning, wrapping, and sterilizing equipment Qualifications Registered Nurse with current RN license BLS certification required ACLS certification required Minimum of 1 year of experience in a GI lab, Surgery Center or Critical Care setting highly preferred Pre-Op and/or PACU experience is helpful Proficiency in MS Excel, electronic health systems and databases, such as EPIC, required Knowledge of GCP, federal, state, and local regulations, including HIPAA policies and procedures.   Peak Gastroenterology is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate in employment on account of race, color, religion, sex, gender, pregnancy, national origin, age, marital or familial status, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, medical condition, veteran status, genetic information, ancestry, or any other basis protected under federal, state, or local law.
