Director, Sales & Marketing for IL/AL/ALMC
Job Scope:
The duties and responsibilities of the Director of Sales & Marketing include the development of
marketing and service policies, programs, and systems to support the strategic direction and align
community business plans with organizational objectives. In addition, the Director of Sales &
Marketing is responsible for all activities related to conceptualizing and implementing the campus
marketing strategy and delivering results according to marketing targets.
Responsibilities:
• Assist the Executive Director to develop the annual marketing plan and the strategies, tactics,
and resources necessary to achieve campus occupancy goals.
• Demonstrates a strong knowledge of sales strategy and implementation by leading effective sales
processes to increase and maintain community census, as well as an active prospect list; Converts
prospects into move-ins.
• Lead effective sales processes to maintain an active prospect list and resident pipeline while
minimizing losses. Participates in the sales process at all levels.
• Increase and maintain community census. Convert prospects into move -ins.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of sales strategy and implementation.
• Arrange and conduct on-site tours and off-site visits with prospective residents and their
families for the purpose of discovery.
• Creates new and existing relationships with professional referral sources. Including telephone
contact, community tours, in-office visits at the professional's office, etc. All contact with the
professional referral sources is accurately documented in the CRM database.
• Prepare materials, research, and perform other duties for marketing efforts.
• Leverage residents' participation in marketing, advertising, sales, and new resident
integration.
• Participates in ongoing training and in-services for improving knowledge and updating
skills.
• Foster teamwork with co-workers, show initiative in overcoming obstacles, take actions that
assist others beyond job responsibilities, and have a positive impact on co-workers, residents, and
visitors.
• Seek out and perform other duties as assigned or needed.
Qualifications:
• Compassion for and desire to work with seniors!
• Strong track record of delivering sound strategic marketing plans and results.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience (preferred) and a demonstrated track record of
accomplishments in healthcare marketing and planning.
• Bachelor's Degree in marketing or equivalent experience.
