As we launch our new facility in Mesquite, Texas, we are looking for talented individuals to support our operations and contribute to the site’s success.

To support this growth, we are seeking a Punch/Shear One Piece Flow Machine Operator to play a key role in the manufacturing of our HVAC components.

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating CNC punch and laser machines (Salvagnini S4 and SL4) to manufacture sheet metal panels, floor components, and sealing parts used in the assembly of custom air handling units (HVAC). The incumbent works with various materials, including galvanized steel, aluminum, and stainless steel, while ensuring quality and efficiency in production processes.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Insert key control instructions into the operating system of the machine to operate

  • Prepare, adjust, and operate CNC punch and laser machine in accordance with procedures, standards, and requisitions

  • Adjust machine feed and speed, change cutting tools or adjust controls when automatic programming is faulty or machine malfunction

  • Make machine adjustments to ensure product quality

  • Review program specifications or plans to determine and define machine operations and sequencing, finished part dimensions, or CNC sequences

  • Check accuracy of part dimensions using various gauge types

  • Program codes and parts

  • Check cooling systems

  • Examine electronic components for defects or verify the integrity of the laser beam cutting using a microscopes

  • Ensure compliance with quality standards

  • Perform tasks while respecting safety rules

  • Identify and correct conditions that affect employee safety

  • May be called upon to work on other equipment, depending on production needs

  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or DVS.

Experience: Relevant experience with a CNC punch and/or punch and laser. Experience in HVAC is an asset.

Computer Skills: None required.

Certificates & Licenses: None required.
