The Receiving Associate is responsible for assisting in the warehouse operations of the retail store. In addition, the Receiving Associate is responsible for unloading, auditing, and staging product to recover store inventory. Full-Time and Part-Time Positions Available. Minimum Eligibility Requirements include 1-2 years of previous warehouse experience preferred, experience driving a forklift preferred, effective communication skills (oral and written), attentiveness to detail, ability to work in different weather conditions, ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet established deadlines, and availability to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons. Essential Functions include acting in a manner consistent with the company’s core values, ensuring products are staged for counting and inspection, ensuring all receiving paperwork is properly completed, ensuring products are stored properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures, overseeing the rotation of inventories within the warehouse, performing other related duties as directed by management, demonstrating a thorough understanding and compliance with the company’s safe lifting practices and standard operating procedures, and completing required department and equipment training (must be forklift certified). Working conditions involve frequent exposure to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles with moderate to noisy noise levels. Physical requirements include the ability to exert 30 – 60 pounds of force occasionally, 20-30 pounds frequently, and up to 20 pounds constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects, frequent use of hands and fingers, frequent standing, walking, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling. Store and pickup hours vary throughout the week.
