Technician

Walker Volkswagen is seeking a qualified Service Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate is experienced, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality repairs and excellent customer 

Responsibilities

•    Perform video multi point inspections, diagnosis, maintenance, and repairs
•    Complete work orders accurately and efficiently in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
•    Inspect, test, and verify vehicle systems using diagnostic tools and shop equipment.
•    Communicate findings, recommendations, and repair needs to the service advisor or management team.
•    Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
•    Stay current on Volkswagen repair procedures, technical updates, and training requirements

Qualifications

•    Previous automotive technician experience required.
•    Volkswagen or European-brand experience preferred.
•    ASE certification or equivalent technical training preferred.
•    Strong diagnostic, mechanical, and electrical repair skills.
•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•    Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
•    Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
