Parts Associate

Solar Refrigeration & Appliance Service, Inc. is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Parts Associate to join our team. This full-time position plays a vital role in supporting our service operations by ensuring technicians have the correct parts when they need them and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Responsibilities

Order appliance parts from manufacturers and authorized distributors
Track parts from order placement through delivery
Receive, verify, and process incoming shipments
Maintain accurate inventory and parts records
Research part availability, substitutions, and backorder status
Coordinate with service technicians and office staff to ensure timely parts availability
Return defective or unused parts in accordance with vendor procedures
Maintain a clean, organized parts room and warehouse
Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment
Communicate proactively with vendors regarding shipping delays and order issues

Qualifications

Previous experience in parts, inventory, purchasing, warehouse, or appliance/HVAC/automotive industries preferred
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with computers and inventory management software
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Dependable, self-motivated, and a team player
