Role Description

This is an on-site contract role for a Speech-Language Pathologist based in Metairie, LA. The Speech-Language Pathologist will work directly with clients to assess and treat speech, language, and communication disorders. Responsibilities include developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, collaborating with other professionals, and documenting client progress. The role involves working with diverse populations, including individuals with developmental and cognitive challenges, to improve communication skills and overall quality of life.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Speech Therapy techniques and expertise in addressing speech disorders
  • Experience in managing Dysphagia and related conditions
  • Strong knowledge of Communication Disorders and approaches for effective intervention
  • Expertise in diagnosing and treating Language Disorders
  • Ability to create customized therapy plans based on individual client needs
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
  • State licensure or eligibility for licensure in Louisiana
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with families and professionals
  • Experience working with clients with developmental disabilities, including autism, is a plus
  • Commitment to evidence-based practices to achieve effective therapeutic outcomes
  • Also accepting Clinical Fellows (CF-SLP)
