Take the lead: prioritizing, coordinating, and delegating all care touchpoints for your patients.Ā Ā
Evaluate vital signs according to standards of care andĀ monitorĀ life support measures such as advanced heart and respiratory technology.Ā
Apply knowledge of complex patient conditions including psycho/social needs.Ā
Maintain andĀ advocateĀ a safe environment for everyone.Ā
Monitor and engage with your patients, families, andĀ appropriate careĀ team membersĀ immediatelyĀ concerningĀ significant events, patient condition changes, or patient questions and concerns.Ā
Prevent and treat wounds.Ā
Monitor and execute Joint Commission infection control and environment of care requirements.Ā
Ensure continuity of care, efficient throughput, consistent communications, and an exceptional experience for every patient.Ā
Collaborate and consult with nursing supervisor Collaborates toĀ identifyĀ and meet the overall needs of patient care or when unable to complete assignments or perform tasks promptly, effectively, or safely.Ā
Initiate patient and family education usingĀ appropriate resourcesĀ and continuum of care services.Ā

The Must-HavesĀ

Minimum:Ā
Current nursing license to practice in Louisiana and as defined by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing.Ā
Current American Heart Association BLS certification.Ā
Current ACLSĀ (must obtain within 6 months of hire)
