About the Role:

A Customer Service Representative is responsible for handling an array of front-facing duties. Some of these tasks including interacting with customers over the phone, in person, and/or via email. Throughout all of these interactions Customer Service Representatives must maintain a high level of professionalism and present the organization in the best light possible. Each interaction affects the company’s bottom line in either a positive or negative way. They are expected to deliver exceptional service to our external and internal customers, maintain the highest levels of compliance possible while helping to maximize the sales and margins of the Department. HME CSR will meet these goals by the timely completion of the duties and responsibilities listed below.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Cashier experience.
  • Proven experience in telephone customer service or a related role.
  • Strong Bilingual (Spanish) verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with customer account management systems.

Preferred Qualifications:.

  • Minimum six months previous retail/medical office customer service experience
  • Excellent communication, organizational and mathematical skills
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology a plus
  • Strong understanding of third-party payors and coverage guidelines.
  • Established computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, most specifically Excel, is required.
  • Reliable and dependable attendance is mandatory.
  • Must meet the Fundamental Performance Standards of the Company
  • Must possess general office skills such as typing and filing.
  • Must meet or exceed performance expectations.
  • Must be available to work minimum of two evenings (closing shift to 6PM) per week according to schedule rotation.
  • Must be available to work two Saturday shifts (9am-2pm) per month according to scheduled rotation.
  • Must pass the required drug screen, including marijuana

Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via telephone and other communication channels.
  • Assist customers in person and on the phone.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and feedback.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Adapt to a fast-paced work environment while managing multiple customer requests efficiently.
