We are looking for a  Receiving Attendant   to join the re-opening of the famed Delano Miami Beach.

Set to open its doors in early 2026, Delano Miami Beach will fuse historic charm with contemporary luxury, reflecting a reimagined experience that pays homage to the original visionary concept. Comprising 171 rooms and distinct food and beverage concepts, the hotel will preserve its iconic walk-in pool and, in addition, unveil a new pool on an amenity deck, offering breathtaking views of the ocean. Delano Miami Beach will act as the brand’s flagship location, re-establishing Delano as a trailblazer in luxury lifestyle hospitality. Ennismore, in partnership with Cain International (the owners of Delano Miami Beach as well as partner in the Delano brand), are currently undertaking a significant renovation and redevelopment of the iconic Delano hotel.

Job Description

JOB OVERVIEW:

Under the general guidance of the Purchasing Supervisor, the Receiving Attendant is responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, and issuing goods and supplies for the hotel’s various departments, with an emphasis on accuracy, organization, and compliance with internal controls and safety standards. This role plays a key part in ensuring that all hotel outlets receive the necessary materials in a timely and efficient manner. The Storekeeper & Receiver ensures goods are stored safely and securely and verifies that deliveries meet the hotel’s specifications and quality standards.

 

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive all incoming deliveries and verify accuracy of orders against purchase orders and packing slips. 
  • Assist Purchasing Supervisor in coordinating and managing delivery vehicles in designated delivery spots.
  • Log in guest packages and incoming operational purchase orders, issue them to respective departments.
  • Inspect goods upon arrival for quantity, quality, and condition, report and document any discrepancies, damages, or shortages.
  • Properly store all food, beverage, and general supplies in designated storage areas, ensuring compliance with FEFO (First Expire, First Out) and food safety standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all Purchasing storage areas.
  • Accurately log received items into inventory systems and coordinate with Supervisor and Accounts Payable regarding receipts and invoices.
  • Issue requested items to departments according to approved requisitions and ensure accurate documentation and posting of outgoing inventory.
  • Ensure all goods are stored and properly labelled in appropriate conditions (temperature, humidity, cleanliness) and are secured against loss or theft.
  • Follow all hotel and departmental procedures related to receiving, storage, issuance, and inventory control.
  • Maintain records of receipts and goods issued in accordance with audit and internal control requirements.
  • Check in operational purchase orders and deliver to requesting department.
  • Report any inventory discrepancies, spoilage, or expired goods to Purchasing leadership immediately.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks or carts safely and efficiently.
  • Assist with end-of-month inventory procedures and prepare reports as requested.

  • We will on occasion call for everyone in the team to, on a routine basis, perform various related tasks as needed in the spirit of providing exceptional guest service.
