JOB OVERVIEW
Responsible for the cleanliness of guest rooms in accordance with Faena standards. Assist in allowing a sufficient quantity of vacant and clean guest rooms for sale. Clean occupied guest rooms.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESÂ
- Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.
- Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment. Use equipment only as intended.
- Maintain positive guest and resident relations at all times.
- Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.
- Clean and replenish guest bedroom and bathroom areas according to established standards.
- Remove trash from rooms
- Organize and stock cleaning cart and organize linen closets on floors assigned.
- Complete accurately, and in a timely manner, any assigned work.
- Maintain cleanliness levels in all public areas of the hotel including guest hallways, housekeeping closets and Butler pantries.
- Report any defects to the corresponding areas responsible for correcting these defects.
PHYSICAL ABILITIES
- Ability to grasp, lift, move, or push goods on cart/truck weighing up to 40 to 60 pounds.
- Â Ability to move safely in uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
- Ability to see and respond dangerous to situations.
- Requires mobility. Sense of smell, taste, touch, and sound. Eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity.
- Remain in stationary position for 8 or more hours throughout work shift
- Ability to tolerate varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination, and air quality.
- Some of the work will occur in different locations of the hotel.
