HEICO Component Repair Group, a leading provider of FAA-approved aircraft component repair and overhaul services, is seeking a motivated Engineering Technician Apprentice to join our dynamic engineering team. This position provides hands-on training in aircraft component maintenance, FAA regulatory compliance, and documentation.
In this position, the Engineering Technician Apprentice may be required to disassemble, clean, repair, re-assemble, and test Aircraft Sub-Components in accordance with approved data.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform technical tasks related to the repair and overhaul of aircraft components
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, maintenance manuals, and repair specifications
- Participate in testing activities and assist with setup, operation, and data recording
- Maintain records in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures
- Follow safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
Skills/Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English
- Basic understanding of mechanical concepts
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or willingness to learn how to do it
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Physical Demands
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 5 lbs.
- Frequent use of hands for handling tools or small components
- Occasional bending, crouching, and reaching
- Ability to work in environments with varying noise levels, temperatures, and exposure to dust or chemicals
