HEICO Component Repair Group is currently seeking a detail-oriented Engineering Technician to join our Team.  The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency with precision measurement tools and the ability to interpret technical data.  This role is critical in supporting our Engineering Department through hands-on repair work on aircraft subcomponents.

 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

- Disassemble, clean, repair, reassemble, and test aircraft subcomponents in accordance with OEM and FAA-approved data.

- Record, analyze and maintain accurate repair and test data.

- Perform calculations and estimates based on gathered data.

- Report findings and recommendations to the engineering department.

- Use dimensional tools to ensure compliance with specifications.

- Read and interpret technical data

- Ensure all work is performed with exceptional attention to detail in compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

Must be able to use dimensional tools

Must be able to read and interpret technical data

Strong attention to detail

Previous experience in aircraft component repair or related technical field preferred

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
