What You Will DoĀ 

  • Contribute to architectural deliverables on projects, working with Design Director(s) and project team(s) for all project phases, including conceptual designs, presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents and productionĀ 

  • Support and collaborate with design team, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies and other vendors to meet overall project objectives   

  • Contribute to resolution of complex design issues with innovative and practical solutionsĀ 

  • Produce graphic presentations, 3D renderings, and construction drawingsĀ 

  • Assist in managing client expectations, team communication and consultant coordinationĀ 

  • Contribute to office activities, initiatives and learning programsĀ 

  • Advance the understanding that design resilience is a responsibility of every person at GenslerĀ 

  • Cultivate design expertise with the desire to always learn, grow, and evolveĀ 

Ā 

Your QualificationsĀ 

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited programĀ 

  • 3-6 years of relevant architecture and design experience within a commercial design firmĀ 

  • Ideal candidate will have experience with multiple building typologies of varying scale, including commercial office and mixed-use buildings, sports and entertainment venues, workplace interiors and repositioning projectsĀ 

  • Must be proficient in Revitand theAdobe Suite. Proficiency with Rhino, Grasshopper, Parametric Modeling, Sketch-up, 3D Studio Max and VRayis a plus.Ā Ā 

  • Knowledge of materials, construction techniques and building codes and the design processĀ 

  • Conceptual 3-dimensional thinking skills and graphic presentation skills to effectively communicate design ideasĀ 

  • Flexibility to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of developmentĀ 

  • Ability to communicate design ideas and direction quicklyĀ 

  • A quick learner with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environmentĀ 

  • Creativity Initiator that brings curiosity, enthusiasm and a ā€œcan doā€ attitudeĀ 

  • Organization, communication, and relationship building skillsĀ

  • Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and sustainable building practices; Portfolios should include at least one project (especially built projects with LEED, Living Building Challenge, WELL Building Standard, Fitwel, and/or Net Zero Building certification) with this particular focus, which we look forward to discussing during the interviewĀ
