Job DetailsJob Location: Miami Country Day School - Miami, FL 33161JOB SUMMARY:   The Systems & Network Administrator is responsible for supporting and maintaining the school’s technology infrastructure, systems, and user environment. This role provides Level 2 technical support for network and systems-related issues while assisting with the administration of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace for Education, and campus networking equipment. The ideal candidate is customer service oriented, technically skilled, organized, and able to troubleshoot issues across multiple platforms in a fast-paced K–12 environment.   ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & TASKS:   Provides Level 2 technical support for network, systems, and infrastructure-related issues. Troubleshoots wired and wireless network connectivity issues across campus. Configures, maintains, and troubleshoot network switches, VLANs, and related network equipment. Assists with monitoring and maintaining network performance, uptime, and reliability. Creates, modifies, disables, and manage user accounts and permissions in Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Google Workspace for Education. Supports account provisioning, password resets, group membership management, and access troubleshooting. Assists with device management and deployment for Windows laptops, MacBooks, and mobile devices. Maintains and supports Microsoft 365 services. Maintains and supports Google Workspace for Education services. Assists with troubleshooting Single Sign-On (SSO), identity synchronization, and authentication-related issues. Works collaboratively with the Technology team to resolve escalated helpdesk tickets in a timely manner. Documents configurations, troubleshooting steps, and technical procedures. Assists with infrastructure projects, upgrades, maintenance windows, and technology rollouts. Coordinates with faculty, staff, students, and vendors to support technology operations and projects. Participates in after-hours maintenance and emergency support when necessary.     QualificationsESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, & TASKS:   Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred. Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID environments. Experience administering Google Workspace for Education. Experience working with managed network switches and enterprise networking environments. Understanding of networking concepts including VLANs, DHCP, DNS, wireless networking, and TCP/IP. Experience troubleshooting Windows and macOS devices. Strong problem-solving and customer service skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. K–12 school technology experience preferred. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:   Experience with Fortinet, Cisco, or similar enterprise networking equipment. Experience with Ruckus Wireless. Experience with Jamf or other mobile device management platforms. Experience with Hyper-V virtualization environments and server infrastructure. Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and identity management
