About the Role:

The MX Program Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of maintenance programs within the aviation sector. This position is responsible for analyzing and optimizing maintenance processes to enhance aircraft reliability and safety. The specialist will collaborate with various teams to implement best practices and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. By leveraging data and industry insights, the specialist will drive continuous improvement initiatives that contribute to operational excellence. Ultimately, the MX Program Specialist will help maintain the highest standards of aviation safety and performance, directly impacting the success of the organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in aviation maintenance or a related area.
  • Strong understanding of aviation regulations and maintenance practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification from a recognized aviation authority (e.g., A&P License, PMP).
  • Experience with data analysis tools and software.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and areas for improvement in aircraft performance.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and safety teams to develop and implement maintenance programs.
  • Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and industry standards in all maintenance activities.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of maintenance processes to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to management.
  • Inputs and manages Airbus Maintenance requirements to include all revisions in TRAX 
  • Additional duties as assigned

Skills:

The required skills in aviation are essential for the MX Program Specialist to effectively analyze maintenance processes and ensure compliance with industry standards. Daily work will involve utilizing technical knowledge to assess aircraft performance and identify areas for improvement.
