Job Overview
We are seeking skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioners specializing in Endocrinology to provide high-quality care to patients in their homes and various residential facilities, including ALFs, ILFs, and nursing homes. This opportunity is available throughout Miami-Dade and Broward Counties.
Our Nurse Practitioners will utilize their expertise to provide specialized Endocrinology care, focusing on improving patient outcomes through personalized and evidence-based approaches. This role is ideal for clinicians who thrive in independent practice, manage busy schedules effectively, and are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Specialized Assessments & Treatment Planning:
- Conduct comprehensive endocrine assessments and evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each patient’s condition and needs.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
- Endocrinology Care:
- Evaluate and manage common endocrine conditions, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, and other metabolic conditions.
- Monitor and manage patients’ blood glucose, hormone levels, and other relevant clinical indicators.
- Provide ongoing management and follow-up care for patients with endocrine and metabolic conditions.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams across multiple facilities to ensure continuity of care.
- Provide patients and caregivers with education regarding treatment plans, medications, nutrition, preventive care, and overall endocrine health.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, interventions, and follow-up care.
- Ensure all clinical documentation supports effective communication and continuity of care.
Requirements:
- Licensure:Â Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in Florida. Certifications or experience in Wound Care, Cardiology, or Dermatology preferred.
- Experience:Â Demonstrated experience in your specialty, with a focus on bedside care and independent patient management.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and patient education skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a busy schedule of 60–80 patient visits per week.

Compensation & Schedule:
- Compensation:
- Competitive per-visit and per-procedure rates based on complexity and specialty.
- Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, with holidays off (unpaid).
This is a 1099 independent contractor position, and you will be responsible for managing your own taxes and benefits.
