The Royal Caribbean Group’s Celebrity Cruise Lines brand has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Financial Analyst reporting to theHotel Finance Manager.Ā

Position Summary:

The Analyst, Hotel Finance supports planning, reporting, forecasting, and financial analysis for the Hotel Operations department. The roleĀ maintainsĀ recurring reporting, prepares analysis of operatingĀ planĀ and forecast performance, supports cost control activities, and partners with Finance, Accounting, Corporate Planning, and Operations stakeholders to provideĀ accurateĀ information for business decisions. Work is performed with general supervision and focuses on execution, analysis, process support, and continuous improvement within established policies and procedures.Ā Ā

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed monthly analysis of operating plan and forecast performance, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities for manager review.Ā 

  • Support the Hotel Operations finance budget, plan, and forecast process by gathering inputs,Ā validating data, and updating forecast files and reports.

  • Create, update, andĀ maintainĀ accurateĀ recurring reporting and analysis forĀ Hotel expense lines, including ship-level and line-of-expense views.Ā 

  • Maintain cost control documentation and perform assigned checks to support compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley, accounting, and company policies.Ā 

  • Support vendor evaluations, payment approvals, invoice processing, reclasses, accruals, and other month-end activities as assigned.

  • Coordinate with Accounting, Corporate Planning, Hotel Operations, ships, and other internal partners to collect information,Ā validate assumptions, and resolve routine questions.Ā 

  • Maintain tracking for assigned initiatives such as payroll, gratuities, consumption andĀ replaceables, entertainment fees, inventory, and other Hotel Operations expense categories.

  • Analyze variances to plan and forecast, prepare draft explanations, and escalate items requiring manager review.Ā 

  • Assist with the development and improvement of tracking tools, templates, and reports that support departmental visibility and decision-making.

  • Prepare materials and draft presentations for review by the Manager of Hotel Finance and support discussions with Operations stakeholders as needed.

  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management.Ā

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, orĀ a relatedĀ fieldĀ required.Ā 

    • 1-3 years of relevant finance, accounting, business analysis, or operations finance experience preferred.Ā 

    • Working knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, variance analysis, and expense reporting concepts.Ā 

    • Strong Excel skillsĀ required; financial modeling experience preferred.Ā 

    • Power BI or other data visualization experience is a plus.Ā 

    • Oracle or similar enterprise financial system experience is helpful.Ā 

    • Ability to communicate financial information clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners.Ā Ability to organize work, manage recurring deadlines,Ā 

    validateĀ data, and escalate issues appropriately.Ā
