The department of Neurological Surgery is seeking an Assistant Professor who is fully trained in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic techniques and procedures related to: 

  • Neurosurgical disorders affecting movement, pain and behavior 

  • Surgical treatment of severe injuries resulting from trauma 

  • Surgical treatment of seizure disorders 

 

This individual will perform in the clinical areas at Uhealth Tower and other UM locations, the Miami Veterans Affairs Medical Center and Jackson Main Hospital.  

 

Eligible candidates must have completed a full Neurological Surgery Residency Program a one-year Fellowship in at least one of the following fields: Functional, Trauma or Epilepsy and be Board eligible in Neurosurgery.  Applicants must have a Florida Medial license or be license eligible. Strong research and academic interest desired.
