The Real Estate Assistant is responsible for proactively researching commercial properties, businesses, and lease activity to uncover potential leasing or sales opportunities. This position involves daily outreach through cold calling, email communication, and database research to identify decision‑makers, confirm property and tenant information, and generate qualified leads. The associate will research location‑specific lease expirations, track market activity, and compile prospect lists to support targeted outreach campaigns. In addition, they will also maintain and update listings, ensure property information is accurate and current, and document all interactions and leads within the company’s CRM. The role assists with lead follow‑up, scheduling property tours and coordinating communications with prospective tenants. The Real Estate Assistant plays a key role in maintaining an organized pipeline of prospects and ensuring opportunities are consistently identified, tracked, and pursued. Through consistent research, outreach, and data management, this position helps drive new business development, strengthens the broker’s pipeline, and supports successful leasing and sales activity. Key Responsibilities Conduct market research to identify potential commercial real estate prospects including tenants, property owners, and businesses. Research and track location‑specific lease expirations to identify upcoming relocation or expansion opportunities. Build and maintain targeted prospect lists for leasing and sales outreach. Perform daily cold calling and email outreach to generate new leads and introduce available properties or brokerage services. Maintain accurate records of prospects, interactions, and opportunities within the company CRM or lead tracking system. Update and maintain property listings and ensure listing information is accurate and current across internal and marketing platforms. Qualify incoming leads and coordinate follow‑up communications with prospective tenants or buyers. Schedule and coordinate property tours for the broker and prospective clients. Assist with preparing market research, property information, and prospect data for meetings and presentations. Monitor local market activity including new developments, property ownership changes, and business openings/closings. QualificationsJob-Related Qualification Standards:   Associate degree or equivalent experience required (bachelor’s degree preferred). Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service skills with high attention to detail.   Physical Demands:   Ability to walk, stand, lift, and carry items up to 50 lbs.
