About the Position

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Corporate Controller leads all global accounting operations for the Company, a growing technology and SaaS business with international operations. This role owns end鈥憈o鈥慹nd accounting operations, including tax, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash and treasury operations, statutory accounting, technical accounting, and financial reporting.

In addition to ensuring accuracy and compliance, the Corporate Controller plays a critical role in driving automation, standardization, and process improvement as the Company scales. This role partners closely with cross鈥慺unctional stakeholders鈥攊ncluding tax, legal, IT, operations, and business leaders across the globe鈥攖o modernize accounting and finance operations and support growth through new products, geographic expansion, and acquisitions.

You are a senior accounting leader with experience in a high鈥慻rowth technology or SaaS environment, where scaling the business requires continually evolving accounting processes and systems. You bring deep US GAAP expertise along with a strong operational mindset and are energized by transforming manual, fragmented processes into efficient, automated, and sustainable workflows. You are curious and pragmatic about emerging technologies, including AI, and understand how to apply them thoughtfully to improve accounting processes, controls, and decision-making at scale

A Day in a Life

In this role, you will operate as the leader of the Company鈥檚 global accounting organization within a dynamic technology and SaaS environment. On any given day, you may be reviewing and supporting financial reporting for the business, partnering with cross鈥慺unctional teams to ensure accurate and timely close results, or working with executive leadership to address accounting implications of new initiatives. You will play a hands鈥憃n role in integrating newly acquired companies, from accounting diligence and purchase accounting through post鈥慳cquisition process and system integration.

Your day may also include collaborating with teams across multiple countries and time zones to drive consistency, automation, and process improvements; partnering with IT and finance systems teams to transform manual workflows into scalable, automated processes; and resolving complex technical accounting questions related to new products, transactions, or growth initiatives. Throughout the day, you will balance operational execution with strategic leadership, helping build an accounting organization that can scale efficiently while supporting the Company鈥檚 continued growth.

Position Responsibilities

Global Accounting Leadership
  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close and global consolidation processes in a fast鈥憄aced, high鈥慻rowth environment.
  • Drive continuous improvement in close efficiency, accuracy, and predictability through process optimization and automation.
  • Oversee preparation of consolidated financial statements, footnotes, and supporting schedules, and ensure timely statutory reporting across jurisdictions.


Close, Consolidation & Reporting at Scale
  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close and global consolidation processes in a fast鈥憄aced, high鈥慻rowth environment.
  • Drive continuous improvement in close efficiency, accuracy, and predictability through process optimization and automation.
  • Oversee preparation of consolidated financial statements, footnotes, and supporting schedules, and ensure timely statutory reporting across jurisdictions.


Automation, Process Improvement & Systems
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities to eliminate manual processes, improve data quality, and increase automation across accounting workflows.
  • Partner closely with IT, Finance Systems, and cross鈥慺unctional stakeholders to design and implement scalable, technology鈥慹nabled solutions.
  • Lead finance transformation initiatives, including ERP enhancements, new system implementations, and process standardization across regions.
  • Leverage automation and emerging technologies, including AI-enabled tools, to improve close efficiency, enhance data quality, and scale finance and accounting operations sustainably


Technical Accounting, Controls & Compliance
  • Serve as the Company鈥檚 primary authority on technical accounting matters, including revenue, business combinations, foreign currency, equity, debt, and complex transactions.
  • Establish and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls that scale with the business and support audit readiness.
  • Lead annual financial statement audits and manage relationships with external auditors and advisors.


Cash, Tax & Treasury Operations
  • Oversee global cash management, liquidity planning, and assist with cash flow forecasting.
  • Lead global tax compliance and reporting activities in partnership with internal and external advisors.
  • Support debt accounting, covenant compliance, and lender reporting as the Company鈥檚 capital structure evolves.


Cross Functional & Global Collaboration
  • Work cross鈥慺unctionally with teams across sales operations, product, legal, tax, IT, and operations to support new initiatives and ensure accounting considerations are addressed early.
  • Effectively lead and collaborate with teams located in different countries and regions, balancing global consistency with local requirements.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration across a diverse, global organization.


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA or equivalent professional certification required.
  • Progressive experience leading accounting operations in a technology or SaaS environment, including global, multi鈥慹ntity organizations.
  • Deep knowledge of US GAAP, including experience with complex and non鈥憆outine transactions.
  • Proven experience owning and leading end鈥憈o鈥慹nd accounting functions, including close, consolidation, financial reporting, statutory reporting, and audit management.
  • Demonstrated success leading globally distributed and offshore accounting teams, with the ability to drive accountability, quality, and consistency across time zones.
  • Experience driving process improvement and automation, including transforming manual workflows into scalable, system鈥慹nabled processes.
  • Strong cross鈥慺unctional partnership skills, with experience collaborating effectively with tax, legal, IT, operations, and business leaders.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Public accounting experience (Big 4 or national firm), preferably with technology or SaaS clients.
  • Experience supporting or leading ERP implementations or major finance systems transformations.
  • Exposure to M&A activities, including accounting diligence, purchase accounting, and post鈥慳cquisition integration.
  • Experience evaluating and adopting automation or AI鈥慹nabled tools within finance or accounting workflows.

Compensation

The base salary range is $230,000-$275,000 per year for full-time employment, exclusive of benefits. This position is also eligible for a bonus of 25% of the base salary. Your base salary will be determined by your individual skills, education, and experience. Hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical in order to allow for future salary growth.聽
