About the Role:

Robert David Malove PA is seeking a driven and passionate Criminal Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team in Miami, FL. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced criminal defense attorneys on high-stakes cases that truly make a difference in clients' lives.

Responsibilities:

Represent clients in criminal defense matters at various stages of litigation, including hearings, trials, and appeals
Draft and file motions, briefs, pleadings, and other legal documents
Conduct thorough legal research and case analysis to develop effective defense strategies
Communicate directly with clients, keeping them informed throughout the legal process
Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex criminal cases, including felonies and misdemeanors
Negotiate with prosecutors regarding plea agreements and case resolutions
Manage a caseload independently while meeting deadlines and court schedules

Requirements:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Active Florida Bar license in good standing
5 years of criminal law experience, either in prosecution or defense
Strong courtroom presence and litigation skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus in the Miami market
