Sexy Fish Miami is seeking an experienced and dynamic Food Expeditor (Expo) to play a key role in delivering a seamless, elevated guest experience. As the central liaison between the kitchen and front-of-house, the Expo ensures precision, timing, and consistency across all dishes, maintaining the highest standards of quality, presentation, and service under pressure.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead and control the flow of service from the kitchen to the dining room, ensuring accuracy, timing, and consistency
- Maintain full command of the pass, coordinating with chefs and FOH leadership to deliver a synchronized service
- Inspect all dishes prior to leaving the kitchen to ensure they meet company standards for presentation, temperature, and accuracy
- Ensure all modifications, dietary restrictions, and allergens are executed with precision
- Manage course pacing and table timing to align with the guest journey and service standards
- Communicate clearly and assertively with BOH and FOH teams to prevent delays and resolve issues in real time
- Act as the final quality control checkpoint, upholding brand standards at all times
- Support service recovery by addressing and correcting errors swiftly and professionally
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient expo line at all times
- Collaborate with management to continuously improve service flow and operational efficiency
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in a high-volume, upscale or luxury restaurant environment
- Strong understanding of service standards, sequencing, and kitchen operations
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to lead during high-pressure service periods
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to excellence and consistency
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and make quick, informed decisions
- Professional presence with a calm and solutions-driven approach
- Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods
- Ability to work in a high-temperature, fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift and carry plates or trays as needed
- High-volume, luxury dining environment with elevated service expectations
- Flexible and dependable, with availability during peak service hours (nights, weekends, holidays)
