About the Role

As our Lumper you will be responsible for efficiently loading and unloading trucks, handling materials, and ensuring that products are properly moved in and out of the warehouse.

What You’ll Do

• Unload inbound shipments from trucks and containers, and load outbound trucks, ensuring all materials are properly handled to avoid damage.
• Build and wrap pallets according to warehouse standards, ensuring stability and correct stacking procedures.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the loading docks and warehouse areas.
• Work closely with forklift operators to ensure efficient movement of materials within the warehouse.
• Ensure timely completion of loading and unloading tasks to avoid delays in warehouse operations.

What You Bring to the Pak

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is preferred, especially in loading and unloading trucks.
• Skills:
  • Physical stamina and strength to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
  • Basic math and reading skills for counting inventory and following instructions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing demands.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 lbs consistently.
• Ability to work in cold storage environments as low as -10°F
• Standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift is required.
