Management Trainee - Leadership Development ProgramÂ
Copart is committed to developing a strong pipeline for future leaders through our annual Leadership Development Program. This program provides a structured, hands-on learning environment designed to build operational knowledge and leadership capability across key areas of the business.Â
Participants will receive a combination of classroom instruction and on-the-job training to develop the skills required for future field-based leadership roles.Â
The program begins on July 13, 2026, with a two-week training session at company headquarters in Dallas, Texas. Following initial training, participants will complete a 12-month field-based development experience at one of the company’s operational locations across the United States.Â
Participants will return to Dallas for approximately one week midway through the program for additional training and evaluation.Â
Throughout the program, participants will gain experience across multiple operational functions with the objective of preparing for placement into a field management role upon successful completion.Â

Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
Customer & Operational SupportÂ
- Provide customer service to internal and external stakeholders, addressing inquiries and resolving issuesÂ
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support service delivery and operational efficiencyÂ
- Analyze customer feedback and contribute to process improvementsÂ
Field & Catastrophe SupportÂ
- Travel as needed to support operations, including response efforts during weather-related or other high-demand eventsÂ
- Assist local teams in maintaining operational continuity during peak periodsÂ
Inventory & Asset ManagementÂ
- Support vehicle intake, processing, and documentation in accordance with company proceduresÂ
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle inventory, movement, and status using company systemsÂ
- Ensure compliance with established quality, accuracy, and documentation standardsÂ
Administrative & Compliance ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Assist with title processing and related documentation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to applicable requirementsÂ
- Maintain organized records and documentation for operational activitiesÂ
- Support audits and compliance-related processes as neededÂ
Safety & Equipment OperationÂ
- Follow company safety policies and procedures at all timesÂ
- Conduct and document required equipment inspectionsÂ
- Operate company equipment (e.g., forklifts, loaders) in accordance with training and safety standardsÂ
Process Improvement & ExecutionÂ
- Support implementation of operational processes and continuous improvement initiativesÂ
- Follow established procedures and escalate issues as appropriateÂ
Team & Operational SupportÂ
- Assist with daily facility operations to support efficiency and safetyÂ
- Collaborate with team members and leadership to meet operational goalsÂ
- Participate in meetings and training sessions as requiredÂ
