Description

Job purpose

The coordinator ensures that the receiving, inventory controls, and storage conditions for production supplies used by Vivex Biologics, Inc. are maintained with adequate par levels and readily available. Ensures operations are GTP/GMP/AATB/FDA compliant. 


Duties and responsibilities

  1. Performs receipt and release of materials following the department’s SOP’s to ensure proper inspection, receipt of COA’s/MSDS’s as needed, labeling, and ensures that storage conditions are met. 
  2. Assist the Sr. Coordinator on managing inventory to ensure FIFO/FEFO, stock rotation, timely re-order of supplies, physical inventory/cycle counts, expiration dating, identification and documentation of obsolete materials for destruction. Ensures that critical supplies are readily available to meet production requirements.
  3. Assist in the execution of the assembly and release of pouch kits to assure sterilization and traceability.  
  4. Ensures proper documentation for all material inventory transfers. 
  5. Assists the Sr. Coordinator on working closely with recovery agencies to ensure that recovery supplies are sent to their appropriate locations in a timely manner. 
  6. Prepares shipments and receives shipments from the 3rd party warehouse as needed. 
  7. Ensures that the inventory room is always kept organized and labeled properly. 
  8. Confirms package deliveries are delivered to the correct recipient and in a timely manner.
  9. Performs other duties as assigned.  


Requirements

Qualifications

High School diploma and 1-2 years Materials Management, Inventory Management, or warehouse experience preferred.

  • Strong organizational skills



Working conditions

Majority of the work is performed indoors, standing, and walking throughout the facility. Must have a good driving record, as driving may be required. Occasional warehouse work if needed.    


Physical requirements

The ability to be able to lift boxes up to, but not limited to, 50 lbs.  

The ability to be able to use hand trucks and pallet jacks both manual and automatic.
