Under general supervision of the Medical Director, provide comprehensive primary medical care to homeless and underserved men and women those medical services normally expected of an internist or family practitioner in an office practice. Â The APRN provides medical care to patients including the evaluation, diagnosis and management of their medical conditions. Â This includes but is not limited to taking of a medical history, performance of physical examination, ordering and interpretation of diagnostic tests, formulation of an assessment of condition and a treatment plan, writing prescriptions, ongoing follow up of same, and management of medical information from specialists. Â This includes the entire spectrum of general internal medicine, including outpatient management of HIV disease. |
