CORE JOB FUNCTIONS 

  • Conducts research on specific areas of study as assigned.

  • Prepares research reports and technical papers for publishing.

  • Investigates the feasibility of applying a wide variety of scientific principles and theories.

  • Maintains substantial knowledge of state-of-the-art principles and theories.

  • Develops advanced analytical models and systems and provides solutions and analyses to support strategic and tactical decisions.

  • Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC JOB FUNCTIONS


1. Become competent practitioners in the areas of assessment, treatment and interventions, consultation, research, teaching, and supervision.
2. Ability to undertake consultation to patients and medical professionals.
3. Demonstrated research competence by submission of scholarly work for publication, presentation, or by assisting on the submission of grant proposals.
4. Training eligibility for external certification in Clinical Neuropsychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology/American Board of Clinical Neuropsychology (ABPP/ABCN) http://www.theabcn.org/.
5. Demonstrated commitment to the highest standards of professional ethics and conduct, including knowledge of laws relevant to the practice of clinical neuropsychology; and other standards for providers of psychological and neuropsychological services.
